The material is like a woven tapestry almost, it has a nice thickness. It almost looks like jacquard in the photos but up close it doesn't have that sheen. The way the fabric falls elevates it to be more formal. On my height it's a cocktail length.

I am in between a size small and medium and I got this dress in a small so it took some work to get into this dress but it looked fantastic! Very slimming through the waist. I loved the feel of the fabric, would definitely rent this one again!
