A Nuuly subscription costs $98 per month, plus tax where applicable, and includes your choice of any six items to rent; free, fast shipping and returns; the opportunity to buy what you love at a discount—plus, we do all the laundry and dry cleaning. There are no late fees, no damage fees and you can pause or cancel your subscription at any time.

If you need more flexibility, we also offer the option to add up to four bonus items—additional rentals—to any Nuuly for $22 each.

We currently offer one plan, but we’d love to hear what other subscription offerings you’d like to see.

We use both wet and dry cleaning methods + our dry cleaning solvent is 100% PERC- and TCE-free. We also clean each Nuuly bag between rentals.

We ask subscribers not to wash their Nuuly items, but if you feel it’s necessary, please follow the care instructions on the garment’s tag. In general, we encourage cold washing in a lingerie bag + laying flat to air dry (Please do not tumble dry to avoid shrinkage.)

Note: If the tag says "Dry Clean Only," do not hand or machine wash the item.

Nuuly is a monthly subscription rental service. Subscriptions must be created and completed before 12/31/2026 at 11:59 pm PT to be eligible. Nope. There are no damage or repair fees: we'll handle it at our state-of-the-art cleaning and repair facility. All you need to do is send back your damaged item with the rest of your Nuuly return.

Styles still in rental condition are cleaned and repaired to our usual high standards + sold through The Thrift Shop or our sister brands’ Marketplaces. Others are transformed through Re_Nuuly, where we upcycle pieces into entirely new rentals.

You can save one shipping address to your account at a time. If you need to update it, you can do so here or in the Profile section of My Account .

Please note: we are not able to ship outside of the United States, to PO Boxes or to APO/FPO addresses.

Yes. You’ll see an option to expedite your order for $20 before confirming your shipment. We call this option, Fast Forward. With Fast Forward, your order is expedited in our distribution center and shipped via UPS Next Day Air. Before you pay, you’ll see your expected delivery date. Note: delivery times may be impacted around holidays.

Expedited shipping (Fast Forward) costs $20 per order. This includes expedited packing in our distribution center and UPS Next Day Air shipping.

Fast Forward is Nuuly’s expedited shipping option. It prioritizes your order for packing in our distribution center and ships it via UPS Next Day Air so it arrives sooner. Your expected delivery date will be shown before checkout.

You can return your Nuuly on your schedule.

• Before Your Billing Date – Want fresh picks? Return your Nuuly before your billing date, then use Unlock Early to pick 6+ new items.

• On Your Billing Date – Virgo energy? Return your Nuuly by your billing date + use Check My Return to unlock your next one within minutes.

• After Your Billing Date – Loving this month's picks? Keep them as long as you like. We charge you once a month on your billing date but never add late fees.

Whatever you choose, we'll notify you when it's time to Nuuly again and you can find your subscription billing date in My Account .

No, all unpurchased items need to be returned at the end of your rental period.

If you want to hang on to an item longer, you can always keep your entire Nuuly for extra time, return and rent that item again in your next box, or purchase it if you’ve fallen in love.

Our Returns team checks each and every item to make sure only our Nuuly items are put back into stock. If you realize you've accidentally returned a personal item, please contact us right away so we can notify the team. If we don't hear from you about a personal item after 30 days, it will be donated.

If an item is not returned back to our distribution center, we will charge your credit card on file for the cost of that item.

Nope! If you split your Nuuly pants while high-kicking at the bar, if you pop a button off a sweater or spill a pint of red wine down a white dress, don’t worry. Our team will repair, replace + get out everything you get into.

You can save one payment method to your account at a time. If you need to update your card info, head to the Payments + Receipts section in My Account, select "Edit" next to the current card on file and enter your new payment information. Our system will confirm + save it within your account.

To see all of your past subscription charges and purchase receipts, head over to the Payments + Receipts section of My Account. Next to each line item, you will be able to view the receipt associated with it.

Yes. An Extend Pause option will appear in the Subscription section of My Account when you're within a month of unpausing. From there, you can extend your pause on a month-by-month basis.

If you're not sure you want to make things permanent, try pausing instead. When you pause, we save all of your rewards, favorites in your closet, discounts and preferences. You can pause for 1, 2 or 3 months and you can extend your pause on a month-by-month basis.

• How to cancel without a Nuuly at home:

  • Select Cancel Subscription within My Account . And that's it, you're done. Come back whenever you’d like!

• How to cancel with a Nuuly at home:

  • Return any unpurchased items before your billing date.
  • In the Subscription section of My Account , select Cancel Subscription.

   

  Your cancellation won’t activate until UPS scans your return. To speed up this process, ask UPS for a receipt during drop off, then tap Check My Return in My Nuuly for confirmation.

Bonus items cost $22 each. You can add up to four bonus items to any Nuuly. You pay for bonus items when you confirm your Nuuly.

When your Nuuly is unlocked and ready to fill, you'll see a counter that allows you to add or subtract bonus items and shows you what the additional cost would be. You can remove them any time up until you confirm your Nuuly if you change your mind. You only get charged for the bonus items in your Nuuly when you confirm. After you've confirmed your Nuuly, we can no longer make changes to any part of your order.

Once you've confirmed your Nuuly, we'll charge the card we have on file. We'll send you a notification and you'll be able to see the transaction in the Payments + Receipts section of My Account.

To purchase an item from your current Nuuly, go to My Nuuly homebase and select “Buy”. You can pay with your card on file or add a gift card. Keep in mind that items purchased from your Nuuly are final sale and cannot be returned.

Once you've sent an item back, you'll need to rent it again to purchase it. You can also check The Thrift Shop to see if it's available to purchase there—it would ship free in your next Nuuly.

We don't. Our purchase prices are based on a number of factors, which may not align with the retail selling price of the item on other platforms or in stores. We therefore are unable to honor price adjustments or matching.

You can. Our system only allows for one credit card on file at a time. You'll need to change the card you have on file in your account, then make your purchase.

Lists are a tool for curating your Nuuly. Lots of you mentioned that it would be great to sort your closet into different categories—so we made it happen! Now you can create Lists for vacations, special occasions, in-office life, ~ vibes ~ and anything else you can dream up.

It’s easy to create a List whenever inspiration strikes. Tap Create List in the top right corner of your Closet to start a List. You can also create a List by using the hanger icon when you’re adding an item to your Closet.

Yes, an item has to be in your Closet before you can add it to a List. It’s easy to add items to your Closet + Lists—just tap the hanger icon to add something to your Closet. Once it’s in your closet, tap the hanger icon again to add it to a List.

First, go to your List, then tap the hanger on any product image to see the option to remove it from your List.

You can find your shareable link in Gifting within My Account. Copy that URL and message it to your pal.

Alternatively, find the email with your gift card receipt. Click the View Gift button, copy that URL and resend it.

At this time, we offer e-gift cards only. If you’d like to print the gift card, you can do that from the link in Gifting within My Account.

Unlike rentals, Thrift Shop purchases are yours to keep! They ship free with your next Nuuly and never count toward your 6+ monthly rentals.

No, they don’t—your Thrift Shop purchases will ship in addition to your usual rental items. Buy up to 5 per month.

The Thrift Shop is an exclusive perk for Nuuly subscribers.

No, once your Nuuly order is in progress, Thrift Shop purchases cannot be added. If you’ve made a Thrift Shop purchase after you confirmed your Nuuly, you can expect it in next month’s shipment.

When your friend subscribes using your referral link and stays subscribed for seven days, you'll receive your referral reward via email and in the Referrals + Rewards page in My Account. To apply it to your next billing cycle, tap Redeem in the Rewards section.

Note: The referral reward is a subscription discount. Only one discount can be applied per billing cycle. Any unused discounts will be stored in the Rewards section and can be redeemed after your next billing date.

If you submit your friend’s email address, they’ll be emailed their promo code immediately. If you copy + paste your personal referral link or they scan your QR code, your friend will receive their promo code after entering their email address.

No. At this time, we only allow one discount to be applied to your Nuuly subscription at a time.

It takes 7 days from the time the referral link is created before sending you the reward to verify that your referral is successful. If it’s been longer than that and you still aren’t seeing the referral reward under the Rewards section on the Referrals + Rewards page of My Account, contact us .

Visit the Profile section in My Account. There you’ll see your shipping address with an option to edit. Note: if you’ve confirmed your Nuuly and it’s headed to the wrong address, contact us ASAP so we can help.

Visit the Payments + Receipts section of My Account. There you’ll see your card on file. Click edit to update your payment details.

Visit the Profile section in My Account to manage your saved sizes, body stats and review details. You can also update your account info, shipping address + notification settings there.

Head to the Profile section of My Account. Under About Me, you can edit your size preferences.

Our team moderates every review according to our guidelines. You can expect to see your review published to the item's product page within 5 business days.

Our team will always let you know if for any reason your review cannot be posted to our product pages. If everything's fine, you won't hear from us, it will just publish.

Good reviews are like good friends: they're the first ones you turn to for advice. Leaving a review helps everyone in the Nuuly community + has been known to exponentially increase good vibes. When you write yours, consider what would be helpful to you:

• Sizing + fit are key to helping other customers make informed decisions about what to order in their next Nuuly.
• If an item was perfect, tell us why.
• Describe how you styled it—where did you wear it and with what?
• Do you think it might look different on another body type?

If an item arrived in less than satisfactory condition, contact us and we'll reach out to you right away with a solution.

Definitely include photos! They help other Nuulyers decide if they want to rent an item. When taking your photos, consider what you would like to see in a garment photo:

• Be sure you’re wearing (and we can see!) the item you are reviewing in the photo.
• Far-off, crowded, or blurry photos take away from the full outfit. 1-2 people in a photo is best.
• Person(s) depicted in photos must be at least 18 years of age or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
• Close-up shots of items that are damaged will not be approved. If you received a damaged item, please contact us .
• Please don't upload copyrighted images that you don't actually own the rights to, excessively altered or Photoshopped images, or photos of Nuuly products whose appearance have been dramatically altered—that means torn, shredded or excessively wrinkled.
